Invisible Dynamics has partnered with Carl Larsson of The Art Reporter to stage New Boundaries: an exhibition shining a light on emerging LA artists whose work sets out to redefine the city’s narrative. Curated by Larsson, the exhibition is taking place at Invisible Dynamics’ vibrant creative studio in Mid City, Los Angeles, with support from Cultured Magazine. 

A Swedish art dealer and advisor based in Los Angeles, Larsson has worked globally in the art market for more than a decade. “This show is about the artists who are shaping the city today,” he comments. “It reflects LA’s ongoing transformation into one of the most exciting hubs for contemporary art.” 

New Boundaries explores themes of environment and movement, through the lens of artists who capture the pulse of LA’s ever-shifting energy—offering a fresh perspective on the forces shaping the city’s living cultural history.

The exhibition was launched with a preview view, where guests represented a cross-section of the city’s arts, music, and entertainment landscape: from Josh Lloyd-Watson of music collective Jungle and his long-time collaborator, director Charlie Di Placido; to photographer Christian Högstedt, art advisor Luis al Calderon, and model Cassandra Kunze.
